How is Plus different from SmartMag Classic on ThemeForest?
The original ThemeForest SmartMag under Envato license, support, and refund terms, with smaller updates. Plus plans are sold directly by us with bigger features and lifetime or yearly updates. See the full Classic vs Plus comparison.
Envato takes a 60-70% cut of every ThemeForest sale. Buying Plus means your money funds development and supports the developers instead of commission.
We highly recommend using the Plus version as we are not sure whether ThemeForest will still exist 6 months from now.
What happens if I don't renew, or cancel my subscription?
Your sites keep working with all the functionality. You keep the theme files but lose new updates, demo imports that need a key, Smart Studio, and support until you subscribe again.
What's included as part of support?
Setup questions, help with documented features, and fixes for bugs in SmartMag itself. Hosting, custom development, and third-party plugins we didn't bundle aren't covered. Read the full support terms.
Can I use these plans on client sites?
Yes. Build the finished site and hand it over with its license slot. Each client site needs its own slot, so pick the plan that covers how many you run. Details in the licensing terms.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal, processed securely through Creem or Lemon Squeezy, our payment providers. Pick either at checkout. The exact options depend on your location and device. We never see or store your card number.
Can I switch from annual to lifetime, or upgrade my plan later?
Yes, any time, by paying the difference. One catch: launch pricing is a one-time deal, so if it has ended when you upgrade, you'll pay the regular price instead.
What are the renewal prices after year one?
Yearly plans renew at your launch price: $49 Personal, $99 Business, $199 or $299 Agency. Buy now and your renewals stay at that rate.
Do staging and development sites count toward my license limit?
No. Local, staging, and development copies of a licensed site are always free. Only live, public sites use up your slots.

"I tried several different themes before I decided to buy this one, the only mistake I made was not buying it first. You install the theme, activate the plugins and import the demo, and you're done. The code is well optimized, so even on a slow, cheap server it goes really fast."
